Discarded chewing gum is a prevalent problem for many businesses and residences. Sidewalks, parking lots and storefront aprons have chewing gum littered all over different surfaces. There have been many methods in the past to remove the gum, from scraping the gum with a putty knife to power washing, but these methods are not effective.
Scraping with a putty knife is very labor intensive and only the surface area is getting the gum removed, there will still be small chunks of gum embedded below the surface.
Power washing consumes up to four gallons of water per minute and makes a mess sending little pieces of chewing gum all over the place. The average piece of gum requires up to 3.5 gallons of water to remove. That seems like a large amount of water for a small piece of gum.

We employ a patented system that uses powerful high pressure dry steam and a proprietary solution to emulsify the gum. The steam and solution will penetrate the porous surface and remove the gum quickly and completely. We use less than two gallons of water to clean approximately 200 square feet of surface area. The steam and solution will also sanitize the surface killing all the germs and bacteria that are harboring within the gum.
